What is Watermarking?
Watermarking is a data security measure that refers to the process of superimposing a logo, pattern, or text on top of an image or document. Watermarks usually appear as transparent and monochromatic, in varying shades of lightness or darkness. It serves as a way to make the original data harder to copy, duplicate, and distribute for unauthorized use.
