Transforming the landscape for shareholders and members’ meetings

Last July 12, 2021, Azeus Systems Holdings Limited held this year’s AGM in a hybrid format, where only a few directors and shareholders joined at the venue while the rest attended remotely.

A hybrid AGM allows the attendance and engagement of attendees onsite and online. Interaction of all physical and virtual participants is facilitated by bringing them together using a one-stop platform such as ConveneAGM, which can host the live webcast of AGM, live voting, and live Q&A.

Be present in the meeting, even if you’re far away

Despite geographical barriers, Azeus’ hybrid AGM allowed directors residing outside of Singapore to be present virtually to shareholders attending onsite through a large projector screen behind the onsite directors.

Field physical and virtual questions efficiently

In Azeus’ Q&A portion for each agenda item, they took in questions from physical attendees first, followed by text questions submitted through the portal, and video and audio questions from shareholders joining remotely.

Allow voting throughout the meeting and announce the results at the end.

To fully capture the full live experience a hybrid AGM can deliver, Azeus allowed shareholders to vote from the beginning until right before the close of the meeting. This way, any late attendees would still have enough time to cast their votes.
