What is Net Zero?

Net zero refers to the climate change goal to balance the greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere and those removed or offset by a company, achieving net zero overall emissions.

As of August 2022, more than 130 countries have pledged their participation in achieving net zero emissions by 2050 to accomplish the goals of the Paris Agreement. This has resulted in greater demands for the transparency and accuracy of ESG data and sustainability disclosures.
