The webinar aims to explore the status of gender diversity in corporate governance and its impact on organizational performance. The stakeholder community is now expressing a growing interest in social concerns, particularly diversity and inclusivity — investing a greater focus on the prevailing gender inequality in corporate leadership. While progress has been made in some industries by bringing women on publicly listed company boards, women in management remain a minority.
This webinar will examine:
- The factors that contribute to the proverbial glass ceiling
- The concept of gender bias and gender stereotypes
- The evolution of management styles and the impact of emotional intelligence
- The link between gender and financial performance
- How the playing field can be leveled – identifying the role players and initiatives that must be implemented to address the issue
