Convene, the leading board portal and enterprise meeting software, is unveiled as a top contender in four award categories at the IT Europa: European IT & Software Excellence Awards. The IT Europa event is the leading pan-European award-giving body that showcases capabilities of European software and IT service delivery. Convene has been named a finalist for the following awards: Public Sector and Utilities Solution of the Year, Storage and Information Management Solution of the Year, Customer Experience and Management Solution of the Year, and SaaS Solution of the Year.
Chosen from a host of 400 software entries by IT vendors and service providers from over 31 countries, Convene is the only meeting and governance solution in the European region that made it as a finalist.
Convene qualified for the Public Sector and Utilities Solution of the Year category with its client base of public service agencies, regulatory boards, and local authorities in Europe, especially in the United Kingdom. Convene is also part of the CloudStore, an online catalogue of over 1,700 information and communications services available to the UK public sector.
Convene’s web portal has a robust and flexible repository that supports storage, versioning and publishing of volumes of content, which is a strong justification for being a finalist in the Storage and Information Management Solution of the Year category.
Streamlined workflow supported by an intuitive user interface, with readily available user guides and efficient support team, make Convene a strong contender in the Customer Experience and Management Solution of the Year category.
Lastly, Convene lives up to its nomination for SaaS Solution of the Year by leveraging the Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure and delivering true value to its customers by freeing them from the overhead of computing resources and maintenance for running an in-house system.
The European IT & Software Excellence Awards, to be held in Lancaster London Hotel on 14 April 2016, will be attended by 400 directors and senior managers from top IT companies. The awards will recognise excellent software solutions as well as the developers, vendors, and distributors that drive the industry forward.
Wan Lik Lee, Chief Executive Officer of Azeus, developer of Convene, was pleased with the selection and said, “Being chosen as a finalist in four award categories is already an achievement in itself. Recognition of our product is also recognition of the work and expertise of our developers, engineers, and support staff who make Convene stand out in innovation and functionality globally.”
